under contract

today cait and i signed the contract for our first home. next week we have two design center appointments to finish picking out our upgrades. right now, they are offering 75% off all options

so it goes a LONG way.

so far the list is butler’s pantry - better known as a BAR, golf cart garage for storage, granite counter tops, under mount sink, upgraded faucet, cherry cabinets, laminate flooring ( so jake can’t scratch it), stainless steel appliances, front loading washer and dryer, surround sound pre-wire, wall mount above fireplace for the t.v, upgraded light fixtures, raised bathroom counters in the master bathroom, 6 ft privacy fence for sir jacob, upgraded carpet and padding, upgraded paint color, and i am almost certain that close to covers it.

i cant WAIT for it to be done - june 29th will be here fast.

we move out of the rental mid april and that couple month break will be a huge money saver.

my love is excited and i am equal parts excited and nervous. it will be beautiful.

we are going to have a large yard sale on our way out of here to get rid of the majority of the furniture and “stuff.” we are staring rather close to fresh.

just stuff

let me tell you how much shit two women and a dog accumulate in two years....ALOT.

we plan on starting pretty close to fresh in the new house and tonight we had the realization that we are moving off the farm in mid april - leaving right at 3 months to get our shit thrown away or packed.

over the next couple weeks our trash man/men will LOVE us.

is it june yet?

2009

christmas has long disappeared except for the hd tivo box in the living room.

cait, jake and i went to cape san blas for new year’s. 75 degrees the day january 2nd. i was sunburnt and loved it.

this whole building a house situation is getting closer and closer thus causing me unbearable amounts of stress. hopefully the pre-qual begins and ends by the middle of next week AND then contract and building takes place.

i am excited, nervous, scared, happy, and drained.

lindsey is home on leave from the army and just having her on u.s. soil is a relief.

work is great - broke a record last month and just wondering what the first half of this year will bring.

american idol is baaaaack.
