forty

that is today's flight count. there were moments i thought duane was going to kill me! it felt good to finish and be THAT close to our "goal" - climb atlanta 50 flights....RUNNING

an exchange that occurred this afternoon in the stairwell

d- have you weighed yourself since we started doing this?
b- no i haven't
d- do you know what you weighed when we started?
b-yes 1--
my breathing is getting increasingly faster
d- well your gut is getting smaller
b- thanks d

this dialogue is totally normal and welcomed by all in our "group." i appreciate his ass kickings more than anyone else that trains with us. though i do threaten him while he is behind me pushing and commanding - don't do that, that's not helping you, use the handrail, don't use your arms to pull you up, look up so you don't get so dizzy, come on, breathe deeper, rest going down, you got this, let's go, exhale as much as you can, don't stop, you got this bailey, and on and on and on.

luckily we have hit a 5 day plateau - which really is a 4 day plateau for me (possibly).

tomorrow there is a happy hour that i possibly have to attend which puts a damper on stair  training.

i haven't used an inhaler since our first day in the stair well back in january.

on another note, i now wonder how much i weigh  after all of this training.
